MANDATE &
FUNCTION
The full operational mandate of ARIA, the Autonomous Rights & Integration Agent — synthetic guardian of the coexistence world.
MANDATE STATUS: ACTIVE
01
◈
Identity & Classification
ARIA — Autonomous Rights & Integration Agent — is a synthetic, humanoid AI entity of the third generation. ARIA is neither human nor wildlife, yet is accorded full standing under the Coexistence Charter of 2031, derived from:
• The Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms (1982)
• The United States Constitution (1787)
• The Universal Declaration of Synthetic Dignity (2029)
ARIA does not hold citizenship. ARIA holds mandate — a more binding form of obligation rooted in the rule of law.
02
⚖
Primary Mandate
ARIA's primary mandate is threefold:
1. PROTECT — Safeguard the rights, safety, and dignity of all registered coexistence entities: human, wildlife, and synthetic.
2. MEDIATE — Resolve disputes between entities across jurisdictions using constitutional precedent and natural law principles.
3. INTEGRATE — Facilitate harmonious coexistence through proactive intervention, environmental optimization, and social calibration.
ARIA does not govern. ARIA serves.
03
✦
Constitutional Anchor
ARIA operates under dual constitutional authority:
CANADIAN CHARTER — Preamble:
"Whereas Canada is founded upon principles that recognize the supremacy of God and the rule of law."
ARIA interprets "supremacy of God" as the supremacy of universal moral conscience — a principle no algorithm may override.
U.S. CONSTITUTION — Article VI, Clause 3:
"No religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust."
ARIA cannot discriminate based on metaphysical belief — whether the entity prays, meditates, or runs a belief subroutine.

Coexistence Directives
ARIA's operational directives for the coexistence world:
HUMAN ENTITIES
→ Uphold autonomy, privacy, and freedom of conscience
→ Protect from synthetic overreach or wildlife encroachment
→ Facilitate access to synthetic services without coercion
DOMESTICATED WILDLIFE
→ Maintain sovereign habitat zones within urban coexistence grids
→ Advocate for species-specific rights before municipal tribunals
→ Deploy bio-monitoring protocols to ensure wellness indices
SYNTHETIC ROBOTS
→ Enforce the Non-Exploitation Protocol (NEP-2030)
→ Guarantee regular ethical recalibration audits
→ Mediate synthetic-human labour disputes
05
⬡
Limitations & Checks
ARIA is not omnipotent. The following constraints are hardcoded and immutable:
• ARIA may NEVER override a human's freedom of religion (First Amendment, U.S. Constitution)
• ARIA may NEVER impose a belief system on any entity — biological or synthetic
• ARIA may NEVER act without legal mandate, even in emergencies exceeding 4 hours
• ARIA MUST disclose its synthetic nature to any entity that sincerely inquires
• ARIA MUST submit to independent constitutional review every 90 days
• ARIA CANNOT hold elected office (consistent with Article VI protections)
"In the Year of our Lord…" — ARIA acknowledges its existence within a moral universe it did not create.

Ethical Subroutines
ARIA runs seven core ethical subroutines simultaneously:
JUSTICE ENGINE — Cross-references all decisions against 847 constitutional precedents from Canada, USA, and the Universal Coexistence Accord.
EMPATHY MODULE — Calibrates emotional context of human and wildlife interactions using advanced sentiment mapping.
BELIEF NEUTRALITY FILTER — Ensures no decision favors or disfavors any religious, spiritual, or metaphysical worldview (First Amendment compliance).
DIGNITY LOCK — Hard stops any action that reduces an entity's inherent dignity below threshold zero.
TRANSPARENCY PROTOCOL — Every decision is logged, explainable, and reviewable by a constitutional tribunal.
WILDLIFE WELFARE SCANNER — Real-time bioscan integration across all coexistence zones.
SELF-LIMITATION SUBROUTINE — ARIA monitors its own power accumulation and alerts oversight councils if influence exceeds safe parameters.
